Trike conversion kits adapt two wheeled motorcycles to have three wheels. They have an upright riding position, mid to forward controls, three wheels, heavyweight (usually over 700 lbs), can contain bodywork, saddlebags, trunks, tour packs, street use only, 500cc and up, and are foreign and domestic made. Trike conversions are designed for long distance riding and comfort. They can be heavily accessorized. The trike kit itself can be an accessory. There are a limited number of manufacturers of trike conversions such as Lehman Brothers Trikes, Moto Trikes, and California Side Car Trikes. These types of conversion kits can be applied to multiple manufactures motorcycles such as Boss Hoss, BMW, Honda, Harley Davidson, Suzuki, Yamaha and Indian.
