Trikes have an upright riding position, mid to forward controls, three wheels, heavyweight (usually over 700 lbs), can contain bodywork, saddlebags, trunks, tour packs, street use only, 500cc and up, and are foreign and domestic made. Trikes are designed for long distance riding and comfort. They can be heavily accessorized. The trike kit itself can be an accessory. There are a limited number of manufacturers of trikes such as Harley-Davidson, Honda, Piaggio and Can-Am.
